Teresa Reeve teaches New Testament in the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. She acts as a New Testament consultant on several General Conference and university committees and is on the pastoral team at the All Nations Adventist Church. She came to seminary teaching from a background in education, psychology, and child and family ministries; when Scripture study grew from a Christian duty to a joyful passion in her life. Teri’s PhD is in Christianity and Judaism in Antiquity, and her special interest is how the two greatest commandments of love for God and love for neighbor were applied to everyday life in the New Testament and the implications for today. When she’s not teaching or digging into Scripture, her first love is spending time with her husband and daughter, especially outdoors or exploring books and the arts. Her goal: to enjoy real communion with Jesus every moment of every day.

She works as a freelancing translator and interpreter for German, English and Italian, and is going into Biblical languages in order to broaden her abilities for language teaching. Intrigued by communication and languages, she marvels at their complexity, order, and beauty that still testify of a creative, powerful God. Secretly she wonders which language we are going to speak in Heaven—she would not mind if it were Italian… Angelika loves spending time with her husband Denis and enjoys reading, good conversations, and cooking for friends.
